Project Overview

The Gmail Terminal UI extension re-skins Gmail to resemble a Vault-Tec terminal from the Fallout universe. It's a fully immersive experience designed for retro computing fans and Fallout enthusiasts alike.

Inspired by the green phosphor glow of 2077 tech, this extension replaces Gmail’s interface with a terminal-like UI. The experience includes animated boot-up screens, stylized headers, and even a SPA (single-page app) feel with custom routing and email views.

Key Features:

  • Terminal UI: Replaces Gmail's UI with a pixelated, monochrome terminal aesthetic.
  • OAuth Gmail Integration: Full integration with the Gmail API to read, send, draft, and reply to emails.
  • SPA Routing: Custom client-side navigation between inbox and individual email views.
  • New Entry System: Send emails using a terminal-themed composition form.
  • Responsive Layout: Seamlessly integrates with Gmail without breaking core functionality.
